John Misasi yesterday noted that Richard Dawkins is giving a reading from his
book, "Climbing Mount Improbable" (Norton 288pp $28) at the Barnes & Noble at
Boston Univ. on Oct 11. Today I noted the book was reviewed by Philip
Johnson in the October 1996 issue of FIRST THINGS. In the same review
article he includes Michael Behe's book "Darwin's Black Box: The Biochemical
Challenge to Evolution" (Free Press 336 pp, $25). I haven't read it yet but
one phrase caught my eye "To move from Dawkins to Behe is like moving from
the children's library to the laboratory. Do you want to know how vision
evolved? ..."
