To all who happen to be in the Boston Area, Richard Dawkins is giving a
reading from his book, "Climbing Mount Improbable" at the Barnes & Noble at
Boston University (a.k.a. BU Bookstore Mall) in Kenmore Square. The day is
Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 pm on the 5th floor. It is free, but if you want to
drive, there is parking available (free with $5 purchase) and the subway
stops right in Kenmore square. The description is as follows from the BU
Literature:

Friday, October 11th 7:00 pm
Richard Dawkins Reading

Climbing Mount Improbable

In Richard Dawkins' remarkable new book, Mount Improbable
represents the perfection and improbability epitomized in the
"designed" perfection of living things. Dawkins argues that
the complex, brilliantly effective features and attribubtes which
custimize each creature to its environment could not have come about
by undirected chance. The only way to explain it is by slow, gradual
evolution.

My only impression of Dawkins is from this group and I from what I have read
he is one of the foremost atheist in the world. Therefore, I will be there
after work that day to hear what the oposition has to say (*_-) I would be
willing to meet anyone in the Area who wants to go, we could have an
informal ASA Boston Meeting ;-) Also, for those of you that subscribe to
the evolution reflector, I have not posted this there, but please do if you
feel inclined (or any other group).
