miracles will often explain away the feedings of the multitudes miracles.
"Well, plenty of people brought food, but it was Jesus who inspired them to
share with those who hadn't brought any." I think this is because we can't
get away from the sneaking feeling that somebody should have noticed
something. The water changed into wine was safely hidden away. Healing,
and even raising from the dead, take place inside the body. The
Resurrection took place inside a tomb with nobody watching. Walking on
water is a bit iffy, but at least there weren't 5000+ people (plus women
and children) watching. Only in the feeding is the miracle laid out in the
open for everyone to see.
Would I like to know how the food was multiplied? Sure. Do I have to
know? Nope. I don't think there's anything wrong with asking, but some
questions just don't have answers.
