Can someone give me a bit of feedback on Philip Stott. He
apparently takes a geocentric position which raises some strong
questions in my mind about his science. He apparently is coming to the
US and being advertised as someone with good scientific credentials.
Let me add that while not a YEK, I still like some of the battles
some of them are fighting and respect chaps like Kurt Wise, who knows
what he has talking about. For those of you that don't know me (I don't
post as frequently as a few others) I teach at a good small liberal arts
college and try and stay a bit professional in some areas of
Carboniferous Paleoecology.
Someone asked me about this chap and sent me a copy of advertisement
for him. I suspect he may not be doing his cause any good in terms of
his sciene, but I have nothing to go on and would
appreciate some feedback so I can respond to the person with some
knowledge.
