ORIGINS: concordism and YEC

atheists have been more vocal lately (past few decades) and fairly
successful in the courts, so YEC's have stepped up their (mostly
grassroots) activities. Also, there's the problem that OEA's and YEC's
believe the other's inaccurate claims and reject correct ones. Both
believe that the Bible requires 7 24 hr days in a row for Genesis 1, etc.
and that evolution is evidence for atheism. It also doesn't help when
OEA's cite liberal theologians endorsing evolution as proof that YEC's
misinterpret Scripture. Although OEA's generally see theology as
eventually succumbing to reason, liberal theology may be a suitable step in
that direction.
