Wait a minute! I know a lot of people don't like my view, but I must have
missed the various posts in which "several have pointed out the conflicts"
of my scenario and Scripture. Considering my view of the need for a
historical Scripture and considering that I believe the events outlined,
what verses am I in conflict with?

There are those who find my view revolting, indigestable, and maybe even
nauseating, but I have not seen any charges that I am ignoring or
disagreeing with Scripture. I will re-iterate my beliefs.

1. I believe in six literal short periods of time in Genesis 1 in which
God laid out the plan of the universe prior to the existence of the
universe. Genesis 1 occurred 18 billion years ago. It was God's
blueprint for the universe. This avoids all the nasty problems like
plants being created before the sun.

2 I believe in a literal Adam with Eve taken from Adam's rib. Anything
wrong with that? What Scripture contradicts that?

3. I believe in a literal fall. What Scripture contradicts that?

4. I believe that the genealogies in Genesis 1-11 are true but
incomplete. Since Luke inserts Cainan into the Genealogy and Cainan does
not appear in Genesis, internal Biblical evidence supports my contention
that the Genealogies are incomplete. One can argue about how incomplete
but they ARE incomplete.

5. I believe in an actual Noah and and actual Flood. I can suggest a
place for the flood which fits the DETAILS of the Biblical account and can
point to sedimentary rock and say "There, those are the Flood deposits.
What Scripture says that the Flood didn't occur?

6. I believe that 8 persons only survived the flood.

7. I believe that Adam is the progenitor of the entire human race. What
Scripture contradicts this? I find Dick's view very problematical in that
regard, and I do not subscribe to Dick's view. Because of my belief about
Noah, Noah also must be the direct ancestor of all humans. But Noah
didn't live in 2900 B.C.!!!!

What Scripture contradicts this set of Beliefs? I am not asking for what
belief contradicts this (I don't give much of a flip about indigestion or
nausea) but what Scripture? If you know of some Scriptural conflict with
my beliefs or my model I would be very interested.
