Just for the record, prior to reading Glenn's material, I too had thought
of Noah's flood being the flooding of the Mediterranean basin--and that
possibly it could explain some of the peculiarities of early Genesis
hydrology. However, I didn't remember how long ago the Meditereanian was
last dry (nor how to spell it), and besides, I'm no hydrologist, nor
geologist, so what did I know?
Thanks for bringing it together so well Glenn. However, 5.5 MYr ago does
seem like quite a stretch.
