I would welcome any ideas, thoughts, and opinions regarding the employment
outlook for Ph.D. graduates in the coming years. I am contemplating
continued study in Civil Engineering (Hydrology), but I have heard varied
and conflicting views on the employability of a Ph.D. in this field. I
would hope to pursue a research and teaching career upon completion of
further study. Anyone?
