Whale Watching Trip
Friday, August 4, 2000: 12:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Cape Ann Whale Watch - Whale Conservation Institute (WCI)
This is your opportunity to see the largest creatures on earth with the world's leading whale research team, the WCI. For more than twenty years, the non-profit WCI has pioneered the frontiers of environmental science. The WCI is led by Dr. Roger Payne, the world famous father of whale research. You will see whales in their natural ocean habitat and talk with researchers whose findings become part of the worldwide study of whales. The cost is $25 per person which includes ticket and transportation to and from Gloucester. Children under 16 may purchase a ticket for $22. On board, a light lunch will be available for $6.00. It includes a hot dog or sandwich of the day, cup of chowder, bag of chips, and soda. You will leave Gordon College at 12:30 p.m. returning approximately 6:30 p.m. for the first meal of our meeting.
