I am glad that you opened up the question of original sin (March, p. 26). 1 have always contended that this idea smacked of lamarckianism. But maybe the biologists have been at f ault here, for I do not think they have supplied the needed correctives. A good conversation is needed to clear up some of the semantic jungle.
